This course is aimed at any health care professional who wants to develop a leading role in the delivery and management of services for people with asthma and their families. This course aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills to develop as autonomous practitioners in safe, effective and evidence-based practice in the field of asthma.
This multi-professional course focuses upon the assessment and management of the individual with asthma within the context of the wider community. Importance is placed on a patient centred approach, the health needs of the individual, health promotion and self-empowerment, whilst acknowledging the professional, political and social climate within which services are provided.
Our courses are removed from the website at least five days before the start date, so that students have all necessary information for their studies when they begin. Many of our courses fill quickly and are removed once all places are sold so we advise early booking to avoid disappointment.
Assessment Method: 1,500 word reflective essay and 3,500 word case study
