This course is aimed at any health care professional who participates in the delivery and management of care for people with chronic heart failure, their families and carers.
The heart failure course allows the acquisition of both practical skills and clinical knowledge necessary to manage the complex needs of patients and carers from the early diagnostic phase through to end of life.

This course explores the pathophysiology, diagnosis and management of heart failure. It focuses on both pharmacological and non- pharmacological management of heart failure and how this may be impacted by co-morbid conditions.
It is aimed at health care practitioners who are working with people with heart failure and complex needs and will enable students to apply the evidence in the context of other comorbidities.
